Jesse Little is no stranger to the sport of auto racing.  Jesse was introduced to racing at a very young age and from a unique perspective as his dad was also a race car driver. 

Jesse's dad, Chad Little, drove the #97 John Deere Car for Roush Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.   Ever since Jesse can remember, he's either been at a race or in a race car.   His Dad constantly reminds him "to finish first, you must first finish, learn how to race, when to race and who to race against".   

Jesse started racing competitively when he was seven and now he is winning at each level of competition.    Starting in the Quarter Midgets, Jesse has progressed through Bandolero's, Legends, Midgets and is now competing in the Late Models  series.    Jesse has won multiple times in every series that he's entered since he started racing.





2010 Summary - Jesse showed his racing talents by winning Point Championship for the USAC Midget series.   In his first season racing a Late Model car, Jesse clinched his first win in only his 2nd start at Orange County Speedway on June 26th, 2010.  Jesse won 8 races in 2010 and competed in 20 races.   He also had 5 poles, 10 front row starts, and 16 Top 5 finishes.  

In 2011, Jesse will be competing at selected races in the UARA-stars series, plus continue to race at several short tracks around the Southeast.  Jesse will also be making a car number change for 2011 - he will be running a number that is familiar to the Little Family - #97.  That was the number his Dad ran in the Cup series while driving for the Roush Racing organization.   Chad also plans to test Jesse in a K&N series car in late 2011 with the goal is to race in selected K&N series races in 2012.



Jesse's biggest fan is his sister Haley who loves to pick on her brother when he's strapped in the seat belts.  Haley is pictured here with Chad.   Jesse's Mom, aka Donna, keeps lap times and order among the boys.  Donna, pictured below with Jesse, constantly reminds everyone that family time comes first.  



Jesse's hobbies include motorcycle riding, snow skiing,  and water skiing.  He recently joined his school golf team.  Jesse's favorite subject in school is Math and plans to go to college for Mechanical Engineering.   He recently scored one of the highest math scores in the state of NC.

GOALS:  Continue my straight A's in school and race competitively.  My long term goal is to graduate from college in Mechanical Engineering and ultimately follow in my Dad's footsteps and become a successful NASCAR Cup Driver.

RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 
Over 48 feature wins, Top 5 in points in Summer Shootout Series during first full season at Lowes Motor Speedway (Bandolero Division), Top 10 at Nationals in 2008 (Bandolero division), Finished 3rd in first ever Legends Race in April of 2009, 2nd place at Dirt Nationals (Legends car), 1st place finish at season finale at Orange County Speedway in 2009 (Legends car).  In 2010, Jesse won the Championship for the USAC Midget series.  He also won 8 races in 2010, including his second ever start in a Late Model car.  His 2010 season stats also included 5 poles, 10 front row starts and 16 top 5 finishes.
